Troubleshooting

A few checks to help locate the problem before changing your setup.

Check the remote computer

  • Is the remote computer powered on and connected?
  • Is it ready to receive connections?
  • Do you have permission to connect?

Check the connection details

Confirm the computer address or ID. Note the exact message shown by Vyray Now, and the stage at which the connection fails. Check the known-issues page for the release you use.

Check both networks

The local device and the remote computer both need a working network connection. A change of network can help identify where an issue occurs. Do not disable security controls or open ports based on guesses; deployment requirements will be published with the release.

Share useful feedback

Include the build version, operating systems on both sides, the steps you took, and the exact error text. Describe whether the issue happens every time. Remove passwords, access codes and private content from screenshots before sharing them.
