Website Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

The website vyray.com is operated by BFG LLC, a company registered in the Republic of Armenia (registration no. 264.110.1301499), 24 Hrachya Kochar St., Yerevan 0012, Armenia. BFG LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Vyray and Vyray Now are product names of BFG LLC; Vyray is not a separate legal entity.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website vyray.com and email you send to addresses at vyray.com. It does not cover the Vyray Now application or the services it uses to establish connections. How the application processes data will be described in a separate notice provided with the application.

3. What we process and why

Visiting the website

When you open a page, your browser sends technical information to our hosting provider, such as your IP address, the address of the requested page, the referring page, the date and time, and your browser and operating system type. This is needed to deliver the page and to keep the service secure and working. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, where the GDPR applies).

The website has no user accounts, no sign-in and no payment forms.

Analytics, only with your consent

If you select Accept analytics in the cookie panel, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

With your consent, Google Analytics processes: pages viewed and how you reached them; approximate location and device and browser information derived from your request; random identifiers stored in cookies; and the following actions on the website: clicks on links to Downloads, clicks on download buttons, clicks on our email addresses or the Copy email button, preparing a message on the Community page (we record only whether it was a problem report or an idea, not its text), questions opened on the home page, and words entered in the documentation search.

We have not enabled Google signals or advertising features, and we do not link Google Analytics to advertising products. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; analytics then stops and the analytics cookies are removed from this site.

Writing to us

If you email us, we process your address, the content of your message and any details you include, to answer you and handle your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding, or steps before or under a contract where your message concerns one. The Community page helps you prepare a message in your browser; nothing is sent to us until you send the email yourself from your mail application.

Documentation search

Search on the documentation pages runs in your browser. If you have accepted analytics, the words you search for are recorded in Google Analytics as described above. Please do not enter personal information in the search field.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The website itself does not set cookies from its server. The table below lists everything the website stores in your browser.

If you reject analytics or withdraw consent, the website removes the _ga cookies it can access and stops loading Google Analytics. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

5. Service providers

We use the following providers to run the website and email. They process data on our behalf or, where their own terms say so, as independent controllers.

• Porkbun LLC (United States): domain registration and website hosting. Processes the technical request data described in section 3. Porkbun lists the sub-processors of its hosting services in its Data Processing Addendum.
• Google: Google Analytics, only with your consent, under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms.
• Proton AG (Switzerland): email hosting for addresses at vyray.com.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

6. International transfers

BFG LLC is based in Armenia. Our providers process personal data in other countries:

• Porkbun and the sub-processors listed in its Data Processing Addendum process data in the United States. Porkbun’s published Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of its terms of service, includes standard contractual clauses for personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
• Google may process Google Analytics data in the United States and other countries. Google states that Google LLC complies with the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
• Proton AG processes email in Switzerland. The European Commission recognizes Switzerland as providing an adequate level of data protection.

7. How long we keep data

• Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics.
• Your consent choice: stored in your browser; asked again after 180 days.
• Email: as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted, unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations or to establish or defend legal claims.
• Technical request data: Porkbun’s Data Processing Addendum states that system and access logs of its hosting services are kept for security-relevant events and retained for 14 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@vyray.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live or work, or with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

9. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. It has no accounts or forms that store personal data on our side.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the website or our providers change. The version and date at the top show the current version. If the purposes for which we use cookies change, we will ask for your consent again.
